Plans for Friendship Corner Daycare (Montessori) have been envisioned since 2004. Through the efforts of the members of Friendship Baptist Church in Coquitlam, funds have been raised to complete new classroom space for the church and to accommodate a neighborhood daycare, in order to support the needs of working families. Friendship Corner Daycare Society was established in 2005 and opened in January 2008.
